can't Get out of my Shell

Being grounded is the worst thing ever on Earth, you can't go out to absorb positive energy. Ahh, it just makes your life and your mood more down, and maybe for most people, they'll say they'll die coz of the boredom. For me, no. Eventhough I enjoy getting out of the house, I don't find myself suffering that much. At first when my mom told me I'm gonna be grounded, I did feel extremely sad and angry coz I thought I'm gonna go through pure torture at home all alone. Come to think of it, it's been ages since I spend the whole of my holidays at home. During my primary years, I enjoy spending most of my holidays at home. Yes, you can say that I'm kinda anti-social at times. I don't like seeing people in those open areas. I have a strange fear, fear of walking in the public with many people looking at me. The feeling is really uneasy. It's like your confidence and everything getting sucked out of you. These few years, since form one, I've start to get rid of that stupid fear and it's working so far so good. I'm not gonna write more about my fear coz it's real embarrassing to let people know. *kicked*

Since I can't get out of the house at all except for during meal times, outting with family and tuitions, most of the time I'll be doing those stuff that I normally do on schooldays except for touching the PS2. Haven't touch it for ages, it feels so good to use it again. Because of so much free time I have, I've came across a few interesting sites such as PingMag, a tokyo based online magazine which is a lot of fun to read if you like Japan's stuff especially their art (who can actually hate Japan!? check out the Doraemon shop article!), madradhair, a LJ community which has a huge collection of photos for those who wanna get new haircuts and Kurai's Translations, a site with many translated articles including a very detail write up on Visual Kei.

So before doing something really really bad, always think twice. You can be very very very very x99999 careful but human beings do have their clumsy side. I've experienced that yesterday and it was a real bad one. Tsk tsk tsk... So those elders saying that you can't wrap fire with paper is true. =)

YAY! YAY! YAY! I have mid year exams next week on the 15th and I'm sitting here doing nothing. If you ask me what have I been doing for the last few weeks, I'll tell you I was busy looking at form one syllabus. Crap, I bet mid year exams cover three years of syllabus and I know nothing about them especially science and maths. MATHS! Oh, how much I hate maths. Looking at those questions already make my so stressed and tensed up. I'll end up loosing all my hair one day coz I pull too much of my hair when I try doing those hard questions. I know nothing about indices and algebraic expressions III! *screams help* I'll screw my mid year exams and when mom comes for the bloody report card, my class teacher will telling her shitty stuff about me! She already hates me so much! Always calling me tauke, this and that. Blah, blah, blah! I'm gonna fucking dieeeeee! Wheeeee! The only thing that I feel like studying most of the time is sejarah, others all make me feel like throwing up!

Wargh, I'm having such a bad time here! Besides study stuff, I'm having financial problems. Damn, I need to save up for an acoustic guitar. The classical guitar that I inherited from my dad is soooooo not good. He doesn't knows how to take care of stuff at all. The body of the guitar is totally scratched and the sound it produces is not that pleasant. I wanna hear crispy sound! So far I have only 100 plus. It's only like a quarter of the money needed to get the acoustic guitar. Plus I need to get a guitar processor! No more money left for slacking and getting unnecessary clothings.

This year's Interact club is so fucked up! I wonder what the heck they are up to. The bloody shirt costed friggin RM 25. With that amount of money, I could've bought an original branded t-shirt instead! And what is wrong with the headmistress!? Banning black shirts!? The reason I think she banned it is because of the angel. Bah, anyway it's a total waste of my 25 bucks. Not only I can get t-shirts but also new picks! PICKS!!! I really need to visit the music shop during my next trip to JJ which is after my mid year exams. Sad sad sad. I really need a new budget plan. x_x Practice sessions are getting more fun these days thanks to Mr. Chye who is an amazing teacher. I'm so motivated to practice these days but I can't find a good place for Jrock tabs! DAMNNNNNNN! *sigh* Now, I'm waiting patiently for GanesaSama from AntiPop forums to upload Nil tabs. Can't wait! Shooooo excited! xD xD xD

Now thanks to those stuff I need to get, my plan for purchasing Jrock stuff is destroyed into pieces! No more Gazette merchandise! T____T

I'm extremely dissapointed about what has happened around me recently and this is because those are people care for. Question is what happened ay? Notice that nowadays most people especially females are very obsessed with beauty. Yes it's true that everyone of us want ourselves to look great. Who doesn't? But does it has to reach the stage until we do something that is deadly just to make ourselves look beautiful? I don't think it's worth it. Everyone wants instant results. Those who wants quick instant results will turn to those wrong methods. One of them is self-induced vomiting. The proper term will be Bulimia. Maybe people will think that I'm dumb for writing this and I don't have the rights to do this because of *inserts personal reason, (only few will know this)* but IMO Bulimia is worse than that thing ok?

Here is a more proper explanation for Bulimia :

Bulimia (buh-LEE -me-ah) nervosa, typically called bulimia, is a type of eating disorder. Someone with bulimia eats a lot of food in a short amount of time (called bingeing) and then tries to prevent weight gain by purging. Purging might be done in these ways:

making oneself throw up
taking laxatives, pills, or liquids that increase how fast food moves through your body and leads to a bowel movement (BM)

A person with bulimia may also use these ways to prevent weight gain:

exercising a lot
eating very little or not at all
taking pills to pass urine

Next up we have the causes of Bulimia :

Bulimia is more than just a problem with food. Purging and other behaviors to prevent weight gain are ways for people with bulimia to feel more in control of their lives and ease stress and anxiety. While there is no single known cause of bulimia, many things may have a role in its development:

Biology. There are studies being done to look at many genes, hormones, and chemicals in the brain that may have an effect on the development of, and recovery from, bulimia.
Culture. Some cultures in the U.S. have an ideal of extreme thinness. Women may define themselves on how beautiful they are.
Personal feelings. Someone with bulimia may feel badly about herself, feel helpless, and hate the way she looks.
Stressful events or life changes. Things like starting a new school or job, being teased, or traumatic events like rape can lead to the onset of bulimia.
Families. The attitude of parents about appearance and diet affects their kids. Also, a person is more likely to develop bulimia if a mother or sister has it.

Signs of Bulimia :

People with bulimia may be underweight, overweight, or have a normal weight. This makes it harder to know if someone has this disorder. However, someone with bulimia may have these signs:

Uses extreme measures to lose weight

uses diet pills, or takes pills to urinate or have a bowel movement (BM)
goes to the bathroom all the time after she eats (to throw up)
exercises a lot, even during bad weather, tiredness, sickness, or injury

Shows signs of throwing up

swelling of the cheeks or jaw area
cuts and calluses on the back of the hands and knuckles
teeth that look clear

Acts differently

is depressed
doesn't see friends or participate in activities as much

The scary part, bad effects of Bulimia :

Blood - anemia
Heart - irregular heart beat, heart muscle weakened, heart failure, low pulse and low pressure
Skin - abrasion of knuckles, dry skin
Stomach - ulcers, delayed emptying, pain, can rupture
Muscles - fatigue
Throat and Esophagus - sore, irritated, can tear and rupture, blood in vomit
Mouth - cavities, gum disease, teeth sensitive to hot and cold food, tooth enamel erosion
Cheeks - swelling, soreness
Hormones - irregular or absent period
Brain - fear of getting weight, depression, anxiety, dizziness, shame, low self-esteem,
Intestines - abdominal cramping, diarrhea, bloating, constipation, irregular Bowel movements (BM)
Body Fluids - dehydration, low potassium, magnesium and sodium

Incase for those who don't know, over a long term, Bulimia leads to death. I don't know why do people still think it's worth it. I just hope that through this entry, people will be more aware that it isn't worth it to practise self-induced vomiting just for beauty. This is because there are many other ways to slim down such as exercise daily and also eating the right propotions of food. Still think that Bulimia is ok? Mwahaha! This game isn't that amazing but its simple and a good way to wake me up a bit. Its plain easy. You'll get to play as the Mustang guy and blast away those chimeras. Its much more to aiming. Not much strategy required.

Hmm its hard to decide whether this version or the original version of Jealous is better. Both has it's pros and cons. This version seems brings more sad feelings especially when you listen to it and read the lyrics at the same time. Its just accompanied by pianos, no rocking noisy music. Ahh, the way Kyo sings is full with emotion just makes me wanna cry so much. T_T

Gazette - Saraba
A song from Gazette's old album, Disorder. I'm still very obssesed with them. This song makes me feel like I'm in a desert. Funny. Anyway, Kai's drums in this song is lovely and you just can't hate Ruki's vocals. His voice is just so sexy (of course not as sexy as Miyavi's) especially during the ending part when he talks or you can say whisper. I believe it was him, I'm not that sure. XD

Embarassing Saturday

Went to IP today with friends. Ok so here's a really embarrassing moment. It was really embarrassing and pathetic coz I was the victim eventhough I'm not really at fault. We were at Bum City. I wanted to get black nail polish. So here's the convo.

Me : *looks at the mini bottles filled with black liquid* Eh, is this nail polish?
SF : There! Yalah! This one lah!
Me : Come test test!
LQ : *takes a bottle* Come I help you paint!
Me : Aiyer, don't want lah. Let SF do it since she's more pro than you in these things.
SF : *takes it confidently and helps me paint* Hahaha!
Me : Becareful and paint nicely!
SF : *paints wrongly out of my fingernail* HAHAHA!
Me : What lah you! Now how?
LQ : Come! Let me help you make the layer thinner! *takes the bottle from SF and tries to
make it thinner, (the layer actually became even thicker thanks to her noob skills)
Me : Hoi! Look at what are you doing!? *finger turns fugly and messy and stinky*
LQ : I'm making it thinner lah!
SF : Where got people paint like that one lah!?
Salesgirl : *walks pass* Excuse me miss, that one is not for painting on nails. Its used for
paint pictures lah.

Ohh yeshhh! Finally after weeks of my busyness in school, teh |337 one of this blog is finally back! The revival! *wicked laughter* Yes, I've been very busy with staying back and so on. Anyway its the festive season! Everyone is celebrating Chinese New Year! Whee! The thing that I'm most looking foward to? Definitely the ang paos followed by food and finally family reunion! I know how wicked that sounds. *giggles*

I've been loosing inspiration to write lately. Therefore I decide to post something about my new obsession, Gazette!

I've been obsessed with them since I listened to Toguro and Cassis. Their new album, Nil is coming out soon and I just can't wait for it. Anyway, time for intro. My nose almost bleeds everytime I see his pics and watch the way he plays guitar especially in the PV of Cassis. Uruha's guitar playing skills is totally |337. Total pwnage. Its from their latest single, Cassis. Everybody seems so addicted to Cassis. It is good but I like Toguro more than Cassis. I think maybe its because its packed with more energy. Not a huge fan of Gazette. Thats why I felt strange when Toguro actually grew on me. Very addictive song indeed especially the vocals. Its like hypnotizing me. Lol. Theres no reason why you shouldn't try this song.

Happy New Year everyone!
Ahh, so 2005 is finally coming to an end. Actually I don't really want it to end for some personal reasons. Its sad. But anyway, lets usher in the year 2006 happily! Yep yep, we hope for another great year with happy days ahead. Hopefully everyone will have what they want next year including me. I can't feel the New Year atmosphere for a few years since my last countdown during my primary years. I think it was during std 4? Forgot. Yeah, its a sad thing. Seems that most of my friends are going for countdown at happening places. And I can't! How sad. But I guess its ok. I'll just enjoy the great fireworks from my little window. Yes, I know its very pathetic but I can't do anything about it. The house is already so empty with only me, mom and grandpa. And I bet grandpa doesn't gives a dang during New Year's Eve. Most probably he'll be snoring away in his room. Lol.

Anyway I made a short list of my New Year's Resolution!

Must Improve Guitar Skills, must practice at least one hour everyday without fail!
Must Save at least RM 1 on normal school day and RM 4 on those days which I'll stayback.
Must NOT sleep in class!
Must Revise any subject at least 1 Hour Per day! (This applies to the first day of school)
Must NOT stayback if it isn't neccessary!
Must Improve Photoshop skills!
Must Get 7As
Must Try NOT to eat anything in between meals to keep face less chubby and thin tummy!
Treat everyone sweet, especially my family members
Must Read a chapter of books everyday to improve English.

Haha, thats all I can think for now. Lets countdown for our New Year! Happy New Year everyone! *claps happily at those fireworks* XD XD XD

The ending has a fun guitar solo. Whee!

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas! You must be thinking I'm nuts for posting this so early but I do have a reason for posting this about a week earlier before the exact day of christmas. The reason? Coz I'll be having my short vacation in Beijing, China next week. Will be leaving on Monday. Its a midnight flight. So wish me safe trip~! *giggles* Ahh well, I heard that the temperature is around -13c for the time being so my parents and other family members are kinda worried about that. Wonder what does it feels. Anyway its snowing! Woohoo! I'll be having a white christmas! Whee~! Wish me luck so that I won't froze to death on christmas. XD Crystal, the kid will be back on 26th or 27th of December. Not really sure about that since I'm a little blur at times. It'll be troublesome coz school's gonna reopen.

Everyone wishes for lotsa things during christmas and so do I. So here's my christmas wishlist and hopefully santa will make my wishes come true. ^^"

01. Improve my guitar skills.
02. Better ability to play solos.
03. Straight As in PMR.
04. Mantain good relationship with everyone.

DEPAPEPE! DEPAPEPE! DEPAPEPE! Such a funny yet cute name. Actually you might ask who the hell is DEPAPEPE? They are a Japanese two man band who plays acoustic guitar. Yep, all of their music are instrumental with beautiful acoustic guitars. The guitar duo DEPAPEPE consists of Tokuoka Yoshinari and Miura Takuya. Both good looking young lads with great talent. Their music are very relaxing, soothing and easy to listen to. Most of their music are towards the bright, cheerful side. Therefore their music makes me happy most of the time when I listen to them. I feel peace in my soul. Lol.

I'm getting very addicted to their lovely tunes thanks to Carson who introduced me to their music. I've been downloading a few of their mini albums. So I'm here to spread the love of DEPAPEPE. Recently I've been downloading many animes. And I just watched Ai no Kusabi (Wedge of Interval), a classic yaoi anime. (if I'm not wrong, its made in 1992) Its adapted from a novel. Its a very gorgeous anime. It has a good storyline, shonen ai, and science fiction. Beautiful characters. The only thing which I'm not satisfied with is the music. If only they made better and more touching music. The ending of this anime made me almost cry. Touching. *sniffs* A very very sad ending indeed. I felt like watching it all over again to understand the storyline and the characters more. This anime has many weird terms, therefore its a little hard to understand some events. Gotta refer to those anime sites. Would love to get the novel one day if I have the money. Seems that the novel is very detailed, too bad I can't read japanese even if I manage to get my hands on it. XD This is highly recommended if theres anyone there whos interested in yaoi as well. Lol.

Blood+

A new anime. Pretty interesting I'd say. It's opening its on the battlefield during world war which reminds me of Speed Grapher so much. So far I've just watched 7 episodes. The storyline doesn't goes that fast so its easy to understand. Its a little boring at first but then it gets quite exciting around ep 4 especially when our female hero's dad got caught by the enemy. This anime is quite bloody which really suits it's name. Its about those research facalities producing those weird monsters by the name Chiropterans (I wonder if its the correct spelling..). Anyway. This anime is good.

Haru Wo Daite Ita
I guess it might be quite offensive to write about this anime here. Its a shounen ai anime with very light yaoi elements. The storyline begins with two actors who's gonna act in a gay movie and they end up falling in love with each other. Of course, they went through a lot of sad and tough stuff before their happy ending. Another interesting anime. Its more to love, stuff like that. There were some really sad and touching parts.

This is the second new released anime I watch in this month. If I'm not wrong, its based on a manga. As you can see from the pic, its about gun fights. Assasinating and stuff like that. I just watched the first ep. I've gotta say its another brand new good anime. Its mixed with good action, humour and soon on. The guy with green hair in the pic is hot! XD Bah, anyway this is highly recommended.

A Year Older

Whee! Celebrated my 14th birthday today with my cliques and family members. It was quite a fun day. Had fun at Ipoh Parade and had yummy steambot with my family members at my fave. steambot place. Lovely. Heh, many people asked me what I got for birthday. Actually I got nothing much coz I got my birthday gift from my parents last month. Its an electric guitar. My baby. Lol, an ibanez GIO. A red one. Great colour. Its a present for both birthday and this year's xmas. I begged them so often until they got me one! *giggles*

Had no birthday cake this year. I don't think I would like to have one too. It'll just contribute to my fats making my face chubbier! So instead of cake, we had booze this evening. Fun but kinda burn a hole in my wallet. It isn't a very special evening but then at least I get to relax.

Anyway, just wanna say thanks to those who celebrated my birthday with me sincerely and those who wished me sincerely too. Yep, this goes to Reon kor as well for calling me all the way from KL to wish me birthday! Heh, I really appreciate that. Since I don't have a real cake, I guess a fake one will do! ^^"

Ahh, my dad brought back a pirated version of Counter Strike : Source with added maps, a variety of bots, waypoints, etc. Total fun. Its been around 4 years since I played my last CS. So when I finally managed to get those bots work (thanks to Carson!), I got so overexcited. The game is good. Its more realistic now. Those bots will actually follow your commands, and when anyone is dead, their corpse will still be there. My first CS experience was many years back. I think I was in standard 2 or 3. So when I got my hands on CS S, it still brings back lots of nostalgic memories. Back then, my dad always brought me to those CCs for CS battles. Heh, anyway I gotta do more practice. Noobish skills I have. =P

Ladies and gentlemen, let me present you the latest RPG, Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. Ahh, another beautiful and cute RPG with wonderful cel shaded graphics which are so soothing to look at. Lol. Anyway, its the first fully 3D installment and also the first DQ to hit PS2. Bwahahaha, another classic game. I haven't really made a lot of progress but so far the game is great. I'm having lotsa fun with this game. Well, I'm a sucker for turn based RPG games so this one definitely suits my taste. I have nothing much to say for the moment but be sure to check it out. But those monsters are really great and lvling isn't as boring as you people think it is. Its challenging and fun! Some of those monsters really look super cute. I think the game has lots of exploring to offer. Heh, I'll try to finish this asap!

Heh, I'm gonna have lotsa fun roleplaying for the next few weeks ahead!

Its been quite a tired day figuring out that stupid thing up there and editing those stuff. I seem to loose a lot of this kinda knowledge since my last xanga blog. I think that was easier. Lol. I did not much gaming today. I was dissapointed with my character in Maple Story. I have been adding wrong stats for the last 10 lvls. Ugh! Imagine that! So screwed up! But I'm not giving up that easily! I'm gonna train that friggin kid there until she turns into an assasin!

So I noticed 2 good songs from Jay's album today. Notice that I still wanna rant about his album coz its quite a big dissapointment. Precisely. His album is actually on my playlist though I seem to be listening to his old songs more than his new ones. Right, so today I noticed Fa Ru Xue and Hei Se Mao Yi. Fa Ru Xue has this oriental feeling. It reminds me of Dong Feng Po a lot. Nostalgic. Obviously Dong Feng Po is better than Fa Ru Xue. But Jay said that he combined many(or was it all) of his singing styles into this single song. Its good listening to it if you to want feel the peaceness around you. This makes me feel as if I'm in a jungle with bamboo trees around me. Lol. The way he raps in this song is fun. Catchy but I don't really like the lalalalalala close to the ending of the song. Its kinda irritating but at the same time the lalalalalala is addictive. Geez. Hei Se Mao Yi on the other side is a sad song. I really like the melody in this song. Sorrowful. And the way he sings the intro is beautiful. I love the intro but not the chorus. I think that the chorus suddenly gives me a bright feel to it. Strange. The guitar and piano playing in this song merges very well. Gotta like it. For sad songs, I think I'll put Yi Lu Xiang Bei in the first place followed by this. I gotta listen to all the songs first.

So far I think that the songs in this album is boring. No, I mean the style of his music. Its really similiar to his previous albums. I mean yeah, artists should compose music according to their own style but the way he composes this time is just like copying back his old music style? I don't see anything unique in this album. I think I'll prefer something fresher and newer from him? The way I say this might be a confusing. What I'm trying to say here is as if he ran out of ideas for his music or something like that. I'm sure Jay has a lot of potential, lot of ideas to compose better music than this. =)

Oh, and talking about music. I discovered an interesting song by my second favorite jrock band, Dir en grey by the title, Berry. The lyrics are very disturbing if you can understand them. Its about abuse. Duh, Kyo always writes lyrics about abuse. I wonder why he finds them so interesting. But on the second thought, yeah. Its pretty interesting to read those lyrics while you listen to the song. So I guess I'll post the translation of the original lyrics here. I took it from Centigrade J. And the little girl talking in the beginning of the song is friggin freaky!!!

First post after ages.

Actually the purpose is, I have nothing to do so I'll use this blog for me to rant and rant and rant and rant. Anyway I was not really excited about Jay Chou's new album, November Chopin. Everyone keeps on playing the hit song 'Ye Zhu'. It isn't that great. It wasn't addictive at all. IMHO I think that his previous album, Common Jasmine Orange is better than his new one. Maybe those songs haven't grow on me yet but I was more excited about his previous album more. Everything seems to be good in his previous album.

His new album has quite a stylish cover. Duh, but who cares about the cover? We care about the content more, don't we? Well I haven't listen to all of them coz it seems that the pirated version my mom helped me to burn from her friend is a little sucky. They messed up the tracklisting and they add many old songs which made me totally confused.

Ye Zhu is nothing impressive. It starts off with some guitar and piano. Quite beautiful but not that beautiful. It has this kinda tune that will make you remember and recognize it after your first time you hear it. He raps quite a lot. I haven't saw the MV yet. Hopefully it isn't that bad. Bah, I think that the opening for an album is quite important. He did a good job on Ye Hu Mei using Yi Fu Zhi Ming as an opening track. Yi Fu Zhi Ming was great, it's totally addictive. The way he raps and everything. Ye Zhu is just a nono for me but it seems that many people is getting addicted to this song for no reason.

And the next one will be Piao Yi and Yi Lu Xiang Bei. Well those two are used for the movie Initial D. Geez, that movie is so screwed up. Poor movie and I just don't know why my friends can rewatch it for so many times. I actually hate Piao Yi in the first place but after listening to it for a few times, I kinda like it. Has a catchy melody . Very addictive indeed. The beat and everything just suits in nicely. It gives a great feeling. I just can't describe it. But I kinda hate it when they rap then at the back they have this 'Jay Chou bla bla' thingy. I think its kinda lame. Ahh and Yi Lu Xiang Bei, I'm bored of it but this song is good. I fell in love with it instantly after the first time I listened to it in Initial D. Starts off with driving sound and guitar. It has a very sad melody and it really suits like a sad ending. The way he sings it makes me cry. Of course in the end I didn't cry. I would've cried if I'm in a super sad mood.

Next up is Shan Hu Hai. I think Jay's vocals in this song is great. Good song indeed but one reason made me hate this song so much. The girl spoiled the whole song! Thats right! He should've duet with another girl. A girl with better vocals! She sounds like a mouse or something. Yelling blindlessly. What the heck is she actually trying to do? Maybe she thinks she's doing a great job with yelling. The chorus is beautiful and she totally ruined it! Ugh! Jay's duet with Landy Wen singing Wu Ding(old song) is so much better.

I still haven't really listen to others properly. Need some time. Hopefully it won't be so dissapointing. But I've already listened through them a few times while gaming. Pfft! Not that amazing. Hopefully his next album isn't that bad.

Hmm, nowadays I'll watch this chinese series with my mom every night by the title To Catch The Uncatchable. Goodness, its the funniest TVB show I ever watched in 14 years of my life! Its just so dang hilarious! The way they act, the script and everything! I laughed so loud everytime I watch it. Its a good show. And the actors and actress staring in this show are good too. This is the first time I'll actually really wanna watch every single episode of a chinese series. Usually I don't really care about chinese series. They're very predictable and not very interesting. This is an exception. Although its predictable, the jokes are good. Wikipedia even has an article on it.
